Hi, I’m Mackenzie 👋

I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer based in Oakland, CA, specializing in e-commerce, growth, and product design. I love turning complex problems into digital experiences that feel intuitive, engaging, and genuinely useful.

My design career started in graphic design, where I spent 10+ years working across museums, publishing, biotech, and consumer brands. That visual foundation still influences how I approach UX, as I’m equally interested in how something works and how it feels.

Today, I work at Sunny Road, a CRO-focused digital agency, where I design experiences for 70+ global D2C and B2B Shopify e-commerce brands. I work across everything from navigation and landing pages to PDPs, checkout, and conversion optimization, collaborating with strategists, developers, and clients to bring ideas to life.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually making music, cooking, gardening, enjoying the great outdoors, or working on some kind of creative project. I’m endlessly curious, love a good problem to solve, and believe the best work happens when you collaborate and get your hands dirty.
